Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-14
This policy explains what Marketplace collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Account data
When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details to identify you and secure your account.
Selling
If you list something, we store your seller name, location and profile, and show them with your listings.
Messages to sellers
When you message a seller, we store your name, how to reach you and your message, and pass them to that seller.
Roles
If you are given a role such as admin, we store that role against your account, and the email address an admin invite was sent to.
Usage data
To see how many people visit Marketplace and what they use, two small things are kept in your browser: a random id with no name attached, so repeat visits count as one person rather than several; and, if you arrived from a tagged link, where you came from.
This stays in Marketplace's own database. It is not shared with any other company, and it is never used to identify you personally.
Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the data described above, and to object to certain uses of it. Get in touch using the details below to make a request, and we will reply as soon as we can.
